Gidget Foundation Australia is fortunate to contract a multidisciplinary team of Clinicians, including clinical psychologists, registered psychologists and accredited mental health social workers, specialised in perinatal mental health, supporting our services. We are grateful for their passion and dedication to not only our cause but the emotional wellbeing of our clients.

Sandra is a registered psychologist and primary school teacher residing in Melbourne. She has been working with children and parents for over 7 years, and having two young boys herself, certainly understands some of the challenges parenting can bring. Tanuza is a registered psychologist who works with clients across the age range including, children (in the context of family therapy), adolescents, and adults.

Michaela is an Occupational Therapist and mum to two young children, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with families. She has over 16 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist across public and private health settings, supporting people with a wide range of mental health and disability-related needs. Michaela is an Endorsed Mental Health Occupational Therapist and works from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and neuro-affirming framework. She has completed further professional development through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.

Whilst using an overall attachment framework she draws from modalities that include Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to create a unique fit for individual client’s needs.
