Tamara is a Registered Psychologist who has practiced in a variety of settings including: private practice, health services and non-government organisations. She has experience working across the lifespan and with a diverse range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, family relational difficulties, and trauma.
Tamara is an empathetic and compassionate psychologist who hopes to help you feel empowered, build hope and create a sense of self worth. Tamara strongly believes in building healthy and supportive therapeutic relationships. She recognises the privilege it is to hear other’s stories and walk with them on their journey.
Tamara is committed to working collaboratively with each client to help them to better understand themselves and their own emotions, thoughts and behaviours. She uses a variety of evidence based strategies and interventions individually tailored to each client, including ACT, CBT and DBT. She engages in continual research and professional development training to broaden her knowledge and better understand and assist her clients.
