Kerri Salter

Psychologist

Kerri is a compassionate and client-centred psychologist dedicated to supporting women and families through life’s challenges. She has extensive experience with children, adults and families using attachment-based frameworks. She has been employed in a wide range of private and government settings, with her work ranging from supporting people with acute mental health challenges to ongoing parental and developmental assistance. With a warm and empathetic approach, she creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. Her practice is rooted in the belief that each person holds the capacity for growth and healing, and she partners with clients to explore their unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Specialising in issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting stress and life transitions, Kerri integrates evidence-based therapies with a nurturing, individualised approach. Whilst using an overall attachment framework she draws from modalities that include Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to create a unique fit for individual client’s needs.

With Masters Qualifications in both Child Play Therapy and Special Education she offers specialised parental knowledge around child and infant development, neurodiversity and strengthening attachment through play and everyday life interactions.
