Sandra Phillips

Registered Psychologist

Sandra is a registered psychologist and primary school teacher residing in Melbourne. She has been working with children and parents for over 7 years, and having two young boys herself, certainly understands some of the challenges parenting can bring.  Parenting feels hard because it is hard. It’s okay to need some extra support.

Sandra is passionate about creating a safe space where you can begin to examine the wide range of feelings that parenting can bring. She uses evidence based treatments such as cognitive behaviour therapy, and believes that developing self-compassion is vital to new parents. Sandra works collaboratively with clients to develop a treatment plan that will put you on the road to recovery. Her professional interests include difficulty adjusting to parenthood, raising neurodivergent children, grief and cycle breaking.

In her free time Sandra likes to listen to podcasts, read, get out in nature, watch a good series or movie, meet up with friends and take the occasional yoga or pilates class. She plays for a local softball team and started taking tap dancing lessons. Sandra loves animals and has a 15 year old tabby called Maggie.
