Kate is a committed social worker with an unwavering passion for supporting parents and families. She has a wealth of experience working in mental health settings, and supporting the safe and healthy functioning of children and families in rural and remote communities. Kate has empathetic communication, and a keen awareness of how unique every parenting journey is.

Kate works from a strengths-based framework, working closely with her clients exploring their concerns, fears and aspirations. Each client is welcomed into her space with genuine warmth, respect, and an entirely non-judgmental approach.

Kate specialises in a variety of evidence-based practices including systems, family and attachment theories, trauma-informed care, cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness and solution focused practices. Kate has an ongoing professional interest in action commitment therapy.

Kate is also a certified facilitator of the Circles of Security parenting program, CALM suicide prevention and intervention training, and the Crisis Prevention Institute's safety intervention training.
