Yvette is a Clinical Psychologist, who has a particular interest in the perinatal period and supporting individuals and families in navigating everything that comes with this time of their lives. Yvette has worked in the perinatal space for the past 5 years, in addition to working in trauma recovery for more than 10 years. She also provides supervision to clinicians working in both of these spaces.
Yvette is passionate about creating emotionally safe, collaborative and human therapeutic relationships. She works from a range of modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, schema therapy and is also trained in EMDR therapy. She has a particular interest in attachment theory and in the parent-child relationship, including the Circle of Security program.
