Trang is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in community and mental health teams and private practice. Trang has a special interest in the fields of perinatal mental health, attachment, trauma, and mindfulness. She has supervised clinicians in community mental health services in NSW Health.
Trang tailors evidence-based therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her therapeutic approaches may include Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Arts and Play Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory.
Trang also incorporates attachment-based interventions from Theraplay, Circle of Security Parenting, Marte Meo and Tuning into Kids to strengthen the bond between parents and infants or children. Above all, Trang strives to create a collaborative therapeutic space where nurturing connections and personal growth can flourish.
