Taryn is a registered clinical psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Newcastle. She is a dedicated clinician, with experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a range of settings including primary mental health care, psychiatric inpatient units, hospital outpatient programs, and university clinics.

Taryn has a special interest in supporting women and families during the perinatal period. She is passionate about helping clients navigate the many changes that come with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Taryn takes a person-centred approach and tailors her work to each individual, drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and attachment-based frameworks.

In her spare time, you'll find Taryn in the ocean where she refills her cup by connecting with nature and the sea.
