Symon is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working alongside families. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and has received extensive training in trauma, attachment, and perinatal and infant mental health. Symon is deeply passionate about supporting parents through the journey of pregnancy and parenting, recognising both the beauty and challenges of this period.
With a special interest in neurodivergence, attachment and trauma, and perinatal and infant mental health, Symon employs an integrative therapeutic approach. She draws on evidence-based mind-body techniques and adapts her methods to suit the unique needs of each client. Central to her practice is the belief that the perinatal period offers a powerful opportunity for healing.
