Rebecca Stewart

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Rebecca Stewart is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting women through the many transitions of life, with a particular focus on the perinatal period. She provides specialised counselling for women experiencing challenges related to pregnancy, early parenting, fertility and conception, perinatal loss, birth trauma, and adjustment to parenthood.

Rebecca is deeply committed to creating a compassionate, non-judgemental and emotionally safe therapeutic space where women feel genuinely heard, understood and supported. She recognises that feeling safe within therapy is the foundation for meaningful healing, growth and change, and that healing does not need to be rushed. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and strengths-based, supporting women to reconnect with their own inner resilience and move through change with greater clarity, confidence and self-compassion.

Rebecca utilises evidence-based Focused Psychological Strategies tailored to each woman’s unique needs and goals. Her therapeutic work draws on psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She works collaboratively with clients to support emotional regulation, build coping strategies, increase insight and strengthen wellbeing during the perinatal period and beyond.
