Rachael is a Registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar), who has experience working with clients of all ages and with varying life challenges. She is compassionate, genuine, and cares deeply about those she works with, seeking to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space for each of her clients to explore their worries, fears, and sometimes opposing feelings about parenthood. She is passionate about working with expecting and new parents during the complex perinatal period. Rachael is particularly interested in anxiety and mood difficulties in the perinatal period, parent-infant attachment, changing relationship dynamics in the perinatal period, identity change, body image, and disordered eating habits, as well as trauma (including birth trauma and parenting after the experience of childhood trauma).

Rachael describes her therapeutic style as "genuine and grounding". She ensures she works from a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming stance, paying close attention to impacts and lasting influences of early attachment. Rachael draws from various therapeutic styles CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and ACT.

Rachael currently works for the Gidget Foundation via Telehealth only.
