Peni Bailey brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role as Clinician Recruitment & Engagement Manager at GFA. With the first two decades of her career spent in broadcasting across Hong Kong and the UK, Peni made a significant impact in the sporting sector. Her highlights include producing major events such as the Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games, as well as prestigious tours in golf, tennis and cricket.

Upon returning to Australia, Peni shifted her focus to healthcare, becoming the Clinical Practice Manager at GFA. After completing additional studies in Human Resources, she later excelled as Program Manager for Gidget House and Start Talking, where she oversaw the successful establishment of new locations and managed comprehensive clinical recruitment efforts. Under her guidance, GFA has grown from 40 to more than 200 clinicians in just five years, while she has also played a crucial role in establishing GFA’s first 32 Gidget Houses.

In her current role, Peni is dedicated to enhancing the recruitment, education and professional development of GFA clinicians, driving engagement and fostering growth across the clinician workforce. Peni’s passion for health and wellbeing, combined with her experience in management, human resources and program development, contributes to her important role in supporting GFA’s mission to provide quality care.
