Michelle is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. She supports individuals who want to lead fulfilling lives in which their reproductive choices are embraced and celebrated. For many, the imagined future can become clouded by reproductive loss, infertility, depression or anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, or a difficult transition to parenthood. Michelle can help you move through these challenges and reconnect with a sense of wellness and stability in your reproductive journey.
Michelle brings over a decade of experience working in a public maternity hospital with pregnant people experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties; supporting non-binary clients seeking abortion care; working with couples engaged in adoption; and assisting parents to navigate post-separation parenting arrangements in non-profit organisations.
Michelle's practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiversity affirming. Michelle is particularly passionate about supporting non-binary clients through their reproductive experiences. Michelle draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
