Michelle Cambrey is a Perinatal Specialist Midwife, educator, and passionate advocate for perinatal mental health.
As the Gidget Nurses and Midwives Training Manager and Health Professional Liaison at the Gidget Foundation Australia, Michelle is committed to building a confident, compassionate, and knowledgeable workforce. She develops and delivers education that equips nurses, midwives, and other health professionals with the skills to recognise, respond to, and support people experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. She believes that education has the power to create lasting change and that every healthcare interaction is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Michelle is known for her warmth, authenticity, and ability to connect with people. She brings empathy, energy, and a genuine passion for improving perinatal mental health awareness across Australia. Outside of her professional life, Michelle is the proud mother of four beautiful children, who remain her greatest inspiration. She loves travelling and finds peace by the ocean—her place to pause, reflect, and recharge.
