Occupational Therapist

Margaux is an Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience and has a specialist interest in maternal and perinatal mental health. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Childhood and Adolescent Mental Health and has completed advanced professional training in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. Her clinical experience spans mental health, women's health, child development, neurodiversity, pelvic health, and rehabilitation, providing a strong foundation for supporting women and families through pregnancy, the postnatal period, and the transition to parenthood.

Margaux is passionate about delivering holistic, trauma-informed, and family-centred care that recognises the complex interaction between physical health, emotional wellbeing, occupational participation, infant development, and family relationships. She has experience supporting women experiencing perinatal anxiety, depression, birth trauma, adjustment to parenthood, grief and loss, and the challenges associated with neurodivergence and complex psychosocial presentations. Her practice integrates evidence-based mental health interventions with occupational therapy approaches that promote nervous system regulation, resilience, and meaningful participation in daily life.

Margaux is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women and families to build confidence, strengthen parent-infant relationships, and achieve positive long-term outcomes. Alongside her occupational therapy practice, she incorporates mind-body approaches, including breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, and yoga, to support recovery, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.

Margaux is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that is respectful, neuro-affirming, and responsive to each family's unique strengths, values, and lived experiences.
