Justine is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of therapeutic experience. Her particular area of expertise is in perinatal mental health providing specialised psychological support to women and their partners from preconception through pregnancy and the parenting journey.
Justine has worked in many different settings, from adult psychiatry to community organisations, postnatal clinics, and in private practice for the past 15 years. She uses an integrative and creative approach to therapy, applying evidence-based strategic and psychodynamic therapies to inform a deeper level of understanding to problems.
Becoming a parent can be as daunting as it is rewarding. Justine believes that it requires emotional involvement in a way that can be hard to bear. Being able to provide support, understanding and guidance is imperative as so much of what we become as adults is rooted in our earlier experiences.
Justine is committed and capable of delivering care in a professional and compassionate manner. She is a registered practitioner with Ahpra, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists.
