Jess is the Workforce Development Program Manager and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Since 1999, she has worked across acute, community, and tertiary health and education settings, providing evidence-based psychotherapy, mental health care, and workforce leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work, a Master’s in Mental Health Science, and an Advanced Diploma of Management, and is accredited to provide non-directive pregnancy counselling. Jess is currently completing post-graduate research on attachment-focused clinical supervision. Her career has centred on clinical supervision, group reflective practice, training, research, and consultation both in Australia and internationally. She has a particular interest in supporting clinicians across disciplines to build sustainable and fulfilling careers, with a strong focus on preventing burnout and psychological injury.

Jess is committed to inclusivity and to supporting diverse families to thrive. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy and supervision, drawing on modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and Parent–Infant Psychotherapy. While experienced across many areas of mental health, Jess is especially passionate about perinatal and infant work, providing responsive care to people navigating birth trauma, adjustment to parenting, and attachment challenges. She also has extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, OCD, eating disorders, and body image concerns.
