Jess Middleton

Director, Service Engagement and Impact

Jess Middleton holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Health from Macquarie University as well as a Diploma of Management. She has worked in the not-for-profit health sector since 2010, supporting programs and initiatives that improve access to care and strengthen service delivery. Since joining Gidget Foundation Australia in 2023, Jess has been involved in system and digital transformation projects, government grant reporting, and national expansion initiatives designed to ensure services meet community needs and align with clinical governance standards. Her earlier roles with Cancer Council NSW, Medibank Health, ReachOut Australia, and SANE Australia gave her experience leading teams, managing operations, and helping to embed sustainable service improvements.

Much of Jess’s work has focused on digital mental health, where she has designed, scaled, and enhanced programs that increase access to support, strengthen crisis responses, and grow engagement. At Gidget, she is currently focused on expanding service reach, building referral pathways, and driving social impact outcomes through strategic engagement and impact measurement. Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children and places importance on balance, wellbeing, and fun.
