Fran Grant is a Yuin woman, and her Aboriginal family comes from the NSW South Coast.

Fran is the child of a stolen child and continues her gentle journey with continuous effort towards creating a better understanding of the rich culture and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) and a Master of Strategic Communication, Fran is a teacher and a published author.

Fran is a member of the Gidget Foundation Australia First Nations Group and has recently been appointed as the Chair of Daramu, the QANTAS employee Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander network.
