Dr Lara Monaghan is a GP in Northern Sydney. After graduating from Sydney University in 2012, she worked at Hornsby, Manly and Westmead Children’s hospitals before starting General Practice training.  

Lara has a special interest in women’s health and helped to start Femina Lane Cove, a multidisciplinary women’s health clinic. She is a GP registrar supervisor and has been involved in teaching medical students at Macquarie University.  

She has been privileged to work with many new parents over her time as a GP, which has given her great insight in to the important role that GFA plays in supporting the mental health of parents.
