Fran (Francieli) is a psychologist with 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. In her practice, she focuses on enhancing every client’s internal resources, with a spontaneous and non-judgemental perspective.
With additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), and Family Systems Therapy (Familiare Institute), Fran’s expertise can help individuals, families, and couples experiencing any life transitions such as parenthood, marriage, separation, divorce, disease, loss, and grief.
Fran holds a Bachelor and a Master’s (Research) in Psychology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Currently, she is a PhD Candidate (Health) at the University of Technology Sydney. She is investigating the association between social support, depression, and anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period through a mixed-methods study.
In her spare time, Fran likes to read, play board games and go on adventures with her two boys. She is also passionate about learning new languages and has a particular interest in sign languages like LIBRAS and AUSLAN. Fran provides therapy in English and Portuguese.
