Melissa is a People and Culture leader with over 15 years’ experience across corporate and not-for-profit organisations. Her expertise includes people strategy, organisational development, employee relations, and leadership capability, with a strong focus on building engaged, high performing teams.

Since joining Gidget Foundation Australia, Mel has played a key role in building the organisation’s People and Culture function, supporting significant organisational growth and embedding contemporary people practices. This has included strengthening people governance and systems, developing leadership capability, enhancing performance and engagement, and shaping initiatives that foster a positive and sustainable workplace culture.

Working closely with leaders across the organisation, Mel brings a pragmatic, collaborative and commercially minded approach. She has a strong belief that investing in people is fundamental to organisational success and ultimately, Gidget Foundation Australia’s impact in the community.
