Eshani is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting new and expectant parents and their families throughout the perinatal period. She has a particular interest in providing support with the adjustment to parenting, perinatal anxiety and depression, mother-infant attachment, and early parenting. Eshani aims to provide a warm, empathetic, collaborative, non-judgmental, and safe therapeutic space. She draws upon a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and attachment theory, which are tailored to suit the unique needs and goals of each individual.
Eshani has worked across inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, private practice, schools, and university clinic settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, stress-related difficulties, and adjustment difficulties following life changes and transitions. She also has experience supporting neurodiverse children, young people, and adults.
