Simone has an empathetic, warm and intentional therapeutic style that prioritises trust and connection. Simone is both a registered counsellor and psychologist, with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of complex settings. During this time, Simone has developed a strong passion and particular interest in supporting the wellbeing of adults as they learn how best to nurture the different developmental ages and stages of the young people in their lives.

Simone is trauma informed and trained (EMDR) and consistently draws from a range of therapeutic strategies to best meet the individual needs of who she is working with. She works from a strengths-based approach, utilising several evidence-based models, psycho education, and skills training.

First and foremost, however, Simone values collaboration and grounded understanding, as critical facilitators in the counselling process. Together, Simone aims to build on approaches that support people to compassionately explore the difficulties they maybe experiencing, and to honour what is most important to connect them to a meaningful life.
