Gidget Foundation Australia is made up of a dedicated group of health professionals, parents, friends, family members, and supporters – all of whom share a passion for raising awareness of Perinatal Depression and Anxiety.
To mark our 20th anniversary Gidget Foundation Australia embarked on a cultural awareness program to ensure that every aspect of our organisation and our supportive treatment services are both diverse and inclusive in nature.
A committee focussed on the opportunities for us to embed understanding and celebration of First Nations Peoples and culture in our organisation, build new partnerships and expand our connection at the personal, organisational and community levels.
Gidget Foundation Australia is fortunate to work with a number of perinatal mental health Consultants. We are grateful for their dedication to the emotional wellbeing of our clients.
Gidget Foundation Australia has funded an annual scholarship for a Tresillian nurse to complete a Mental Health Course to complement the skills they already have in child and family health care.
