Madeleine is a supportive, caring, and compassionate social worker, holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours and Master of Social Work. In addition, she has completed post-graduate studies in Domestic and Family Violence Practice. Madeleine has undertaken training in a range of evidence based therapies and continues to engage in professional development and clinical supervision to ensure you receive quality care. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers, and is recognised as an Australian and New Zealand Eating Disorder Credentialed Clinician.
Madeleine has a keen interest in supporting mothers and their families in the perinatal period. Navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, disordered eating, body image, addictions, domestic and family violence, wellbeing during conception, and supporting individuals during pregnancy, birth and motherhood, including pregnancy loss and termination.
Her approach is holistic in nature, she understands that we do not live in isolation, and takes into account family, community, and societal influences on an individual’s wellbeing. Madeleine works collaboratively with individuals whilst tailoring her therapeutic approach to suit their specific needs. She works to foster hope for change, a safe space to explore difficult feelings and experiences, and authentic connection, with the overall goal of improving individuals wellbeing.
