Larissa is a registered Educational and Developmental Psychologist and a board-approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is completing training in a second area of endorsement, Clinical Psychology and participating in the Gidget Perinatal WorkforceDevelopment Program. With significant experience working in a variety of settings including early childhood intervention, not-for-profit, schools and private practice.
Larissa works respectfully with parents to nurture their own well-being, build parenting confidence and develop strong family connections. With strong beliefs in evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed therapy and parent-child attachment and relationship interventions, she supports parents with adjustment, anxiety, mood, grief and loss and birth trauma. Larissa also has a special interest in supporting neurodiverse parents and in tailoring evidence-based practice to family and individual-specific needs. Larissa’s therapeutic style is warm and down to earth and can come with a side of humour.
