Alana is a registered psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan presenting with a range of different concerns. Her therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
With a special interest in women’s health, Alana also works for Women’s Health and Wellbeing Services, where she empowers women to navigate their unique challenges and fosters resilience. Her commitment to understanding the diverse experiences of her clients allows her to tailor interventions that meet their specific needs, helping them achieve personal goals and improve their quality of life. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, Alana strives to create a safe space for healing and growth, ensuring that each client feels heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
